We hit the road this spring. Spring is over, and we're home. Our summer line is inspired by both of these things - the leaving and the coming back. There's something magical about returning to familiar waters with fresh eyes and new stories.
The Journey
This spring's road trip took us from the Texas coast to the Pacific shores of California and Mexico. We loaded up boards, cameras, and an insatiable curiosity about what lay around the next bend. The goal wasn't just to surf new breaks – it was to understand how different places shape different approaches to wave riding.
Each stop taught us something new. The powerful beach breaks of Northern California demanded a different approach than the gentle rollers of the Gulf Coast. The warm waters of Baja allowed for longer sessions and different equipment choices. Every wave was a lesson, every session a chance to grow.
Capturing the Moment
We brought along filmmaker Marcus Chen to document the trip. His eye for detail and understanding of surf culture helped us capture not just the action, but the emotion of the journey. The resulting film is more than just a surf video – it's a meditation on movement, exploration, and the ties that bind us to home.
The footage ranges from intimate dawn patrol sessions to epic afternoon glass-offs. But some of the most powerful moments happen between the waves – conversations around campfires, quiet moments watching the sunrise, the simple act of waxing a board in a new place.
Summer Inspiration
The experiences from this trip directly influenced our summer collection. The colors we saw in Baja sunsets, the textures of weathered beach wood, the feeling of warm sand between your toes – all of these elements found their way into our designs.

Our summer apparel line reflects this journey. Lightweight fabrics that breathe in the heat, colors that capture the vibrancy of coastal life, and cuts that work equally well in the water and on land. Every piece tells a story of adventure and return.
The Video
The centerpiece of this project is a 12-minute film that captures the essence of our spring journey. It's not your typical surf video – there are no slow-motion barrel shots or impossible maneuvers. Instead, it's an honest look at the simple joy of surfing in new places.
The film features our team riders on a variety of boards from our lineup, showcasing how different shapes perform in different conditions. You'll see longboards gliding across perfect point breaks, mid-lengths carving through beach break walls, and shortboards handling everything from playful surf to serious power.
Coming Home
The most surprising part of the trip was how good it felt to come home. After weeks of sleeping in tents and eating gas station food, there's something deeply satisfying about returning to familiar waters. But we brought more than just stories home – we brought a renewed appreciation for what we have in Texas.
The waves might not be as consistent as California or as warm as Mexico, but they're ours. And after surfing around the country, we realized that home water has a special quality that can't be replicated anywhere else.
Watch the Film
We're excited to share this journey with you. The film will be premiering at our Austin workshop this summer, with additional screenings planned for coastal Texas towns. It's a celebration of surf culture, exploration, and the bonds that connect surfers everywhere.
Whether you're a seasoned traveler or someone who's never left their home break, this film will remind you why we all fell in love with surfing in the first place. It's about more than just riding waves – it's about the journey, the community, and the endless search for the perfect session.
